Bibi Dazzle
Burlesque 1 Instructor

This midwest maven got her burly start studying alongside some of St. Louis’s best at Van Ella Studios. In 2011 she debuted her first solo number, ultimately earning a spot in Lola Van Ella’s Bon Bons. Since then, BiBi has delighted audiences across the country, at The Oklahoma City, Kansas City, New Orleans, and Colorado Burlesque festivals, as well as being a veteran of her hometown’s Show Me Burlesque Festival.

In 2017, BiBi marauded across the plains of the US with the Van Ella Bordella, as one of its bawdy casts of harlots on a Van Ella Bordella Wild West Tour. This immersive story of brothel life and the courtesans that serviced the masses brought their debauchery to the stages of Uptown Arts Bar in Kansas City (MO), The Clock Tower Cabaret in Denver (CO), The Gold Room in Colorado Springs(CO) as well as The Palace in Sante Fe (NM). The show also opened up for Sandra Bernhard at The Grandel, back home in St. Louis.
BiBi’s solo credits include shows at The Gay 90’s (produced by Sweet Pea) and Lush (produced by Elektra Cute) in Minneapolis(MN), and The White Rabbit Cabaret in Indianapolis (IN) as a featured performer guest of The Rocket Doll Revue.

Sensational and sensuous, salacious and sultry, this South City sister casts her spell with style, with charm, and with a healthy dose of swagger.

Boozie Q
Burlesque 4 Instructor

Boozie Q has danced and sang across many burlesque and variety stages for nearly a decade. With over 25 years of dance training in tap and jazz, and a dash of ballet thrown in for well-roundedness, she enjoys passing along her movement and performance knowledge to adult learners of all shapes, sizes, ages, and styles. Twenty fourteen marked the beginning of her teaching burlesque at Van Ella Studios; Boozie Q is honored to continue educating with St. Louis School of Burlesque and Variety.

Ms. Q first began her burlesque journey as a member of the Hoochie Coochie Girl, a St. Louis original burlesque and variety troupe under the artistic direction of Foxy la Feelion, and produced by Van Ella Productions (Lola Van Ella). From there, Boozie had regular performance opportunities with The Beggar’s Carnival and Spectaculaire. She has been fortunate to have traveled to various cities to perform in Van Ella productions, and as a solo performer at festival around the country.

Tap dancing is Boozie’s first (dance) love, but the burlesque arts are a close second! Several years ago, Boozie and her tap partner, Roxie Cellophane, married the two genres into what they call taplesque. Together, they make up the taplesque duo Diva La Tap. Roxie and Boozie often bring their specific brand of creativity and hilarity to burlesque festivals nation-wide (e.g., Minneapolis Burlesque Festival, Show Me Burlesque Festival, Portland Metalesque Fest, Kansas City Burlesque Festival), as well as to other local and national performance venues.

“I continually learn from STLBV students! I also really love to see the continued development of our alumni, and I couldn’t be a prouder momma-bird for what they accomplish. I thank past, present and future students for allowing me to be a part of their story.” –Boozie Q
