In this lecture-style class, different topics will be covered each week relating to the performing arts adjacent to burlesque and the nightlife entertainment industry. Topics covered will include professionalism, getting booked & re-booked, organizing your performer life, navigating the industry, branching out, and avoiding burnout for longevity in the arts. This class is suitable for any level and type of performance. All are welcome, please bring note taking materials.

About the Instructor:
Allura Fette is an award-winning performance artist with knowledge spanning over a decade in various disciplines and roles within the nightlife entertainment industry. She has been an instructor since 2013 offering classes at conventions and Festivals, including Smoky Mountain Burlesque and NOLA Nerdlesque, and currently teaches the "Performer Survival Guide" lecture series at the St. Louis School of Burlesque and Variety.
