Costuming for your character with Boozie Q

Ballgowns (corsets and bustles, etc.) can be very elegant, eye-catching, and versatile costuming concepts, but they may not be the right pieces for every act. In this Van Ella Retreat Masterclass, Boozie-Q will help you to materialize your character/story concepts through exercises and discussion. Think outside-of-the-box and conceptualize costuming pieces that will set you apart from, yet dazzle, your audiences and fellow performers alike. We will discuss new ideas and ideas in –progress, sources of inspiration, what you can do if you don’t sew or don’t sew much and some ways to create an impactful look without having a catastrophic impact on your bank account. Bring a notebook to take notes, and/or projects on which you are working.
